NASA is all set to launch Lucy, a spacecraft that will study asteroids in Jupiter’s orbit.
Interesting, however, the spacecraft is getting popular for another reason. Engineers have added a time capsule that they believe would serve as a message to the descendants of humans.
NASA is set to launch the spacecraft on October 16 and it is a one-way flying machine that is not destined to come back to earth as there are no such plans.
Considering the spacecraft is going to stay in space, engineers have added messages to the future descendants of humans.
At some time in future, if Lucy is discovered by the future generations, they will be able to listen to these messages that have been recorded by thought leaders from around the world.
